They say everyone has a favorite sport. Is yours tennis? Tennis, which is a sport we frequently encounter in the Olympics and is famous for its courts, is a sport that requires flexibility, strength and endurance as well as spatial comfort. While playing tennis, both the success of the tennis player and the place where the game is played are closely related to the score to be made. Compared to the past, tennis has become a sport that is more known and played by many people today. As a result of its becoming famous, another need for the game has arisen: tennis courts. Even though these courts are built according to the preference and budget of the customer, the most famous ones are grass tennis courts and artificial grass tennis courts. As Integral Spor, we always try to do our best and offer you both these two courts and other tennis courts all around the world.
The Importance of Tennis Court Floors
With the spread of tennis, the number of tennis courts in the world is also increasing. The tennis court has a huge impact on a player’s performance. A quality tennis court (grass tennis courts or artificial grass tennis courts) allows the player to focus only on the game and not deal with other factors. Tennis is a sport in which sudden repeated turns and quick reactions are given. A perfect tennis court allows the tennis player to move quickly and thus positively affects the player’s performance. Additionally, tennis courts affect not only the tennis player but also the moment the tennis ball touches the ground. Any problem on the tennis court will change the direction of the ball and thus cause the tennis player to lose the score. In addition to the external structure of the floor, the infrastructure should be carefully selected and the tennis court should be built by taking these factors into account. Any defect on the floor that will affect the game and cause water to accumulate should be avoided. As Integral Spor family, we prevent you from facing such situations and try to make the most suitable tennis courts for you. Playing tennis is now more enjoyable with grass tennis courts or artificial grass tennis courts that we produce for your wishes and budget!
Tennis Court Construction
For the construction of a tennis court, first of all, it is necessary to thoroughly examine the floor on which the tennis court will be built and to check the stability of the ground. The area where the tennis court will be built should be cleaned by construction machines. After the infrastructure arrangement is made, the floor of the tennis court is selected. This selection can be divided into two groups as natural floors and synthetic floors. One of the most important points in the construction of tennis courts is the selection of the floor. Acrylic floor, which provides a flexible structure, is one of the most popular floors. Another demanding floor type is tartan floor. If a natural tennis court floor is desired, natural grass tennis court or clay tennis court can be preferred. Natural grass is a type of court that is not preferred much because it requires regular maintenance and it is difficult to maintain. Clay court is made with special sand.

Clay courts are made with special tile powder. First, the floor is leveled with gravel and tile semolina. Then tile dust is used. Clay courts provide both advantages and disadvantages to the players by slowing down the tennis ball on the ground. The clay court also allows tennis players to slide a little. In this way, the balls falling far away can be reached and the risk of accident is eliminated. Another area where tennis is played is artificial grass tennis court. Acrylic courts are one of the most preferred types of courts. They are easy to apply, practical and economical. It is suitable for making desired color combinations.
